GRIT and iVac are the only two systems on the market for automatic dust control in the small workshop. Having had extensive experience with both, I highly recommend the GRIT system. iVac is essentially old and obsolete technology. GRIT Automation system is truly a system of the 21st century.
GRIT Automation tech support was off-the-charts good. They simply are the best technical support personnel I’ve ever worked with.“For my automated dust collection, I quickly told the dust collector which triggers it was associated with and as soon as I turned on any of my machines, the gate opened and the dust collector turned on. Once I turned off the machine the cyclone turned off. Like magic! Amazing! Very, very highly recommended.”
The folks at GRIT clearly know what they’re doing. They’re knowledgeable about their own product, of course, but they’re actually real woodworkers who are passionate and understand how a shop actually works. I expect to see more from them in the future!
I chose GRIT so that I could keep students in my shop safe and expand their opportunities for learning more of our tools. The GRIT system allows me to focus on those that need the most help instead of worrying about everyone at the same time when the shop is busy.
We chose to incorporate GRIT Automation in our shop because it provides us with better control over the use of our equipment, data about that equipment usage, and peace of mind knowing that only trained and authorized users are able to turn on a tool.
